Zentangle Method of drawing. Introduction level Tangles
that anyone can draw.

The Zentangle Method is a structured drawing method, which means it can be done by anyone, given the steps. It's the process that is the most important thing. One follows one step at a time, only thinking about the present stroke with the pen. It's intentional mark making with only five elemental strokes, a line,  a 'c' shape, an 's' shape, an orb and a dot. With these simple shapes, an infinate variety of patterns can be created. During a class, everyone follows the one step at at a time. Unlike copying, everyone's tangle will be different. There is no 'right' or 'wrong' and there is an ethos of 'no mistakes'.

The pictures below are a mixture of student and teacher tangles, and because every one has their own unique take on the pattern and the instructions, all finished patterns will be different.

To find out more about the Zentangle Method, you can easily check out Zentangle.com's website, and though its all a bit 'American' in tone,  it's very useful.
